For this, our fifth and final Virtual Community Week series of the season, we continue to share what community means to us at Hubbard Street!
Community plays an absolutely vital role in our lives, celebrating with us through the best of times and sustaining us in the worst of times. Whether you’ve been part of the Hubbard Street family for several years or you’re brand new, we are excited to come together for another week of free classes and programs in celebration of the dance community’s resilience.
No registration is required for live classes. All classes and events are free and open to all on Zoom or tune in to the livestream on this page. Registration is required for the Delve into Dance event on Wednesday, 4/21.

We are so excited to offer an entire week of rejuvenation, connection, learning, and space to just LET GO and have fun through the art of dance—all at absolutely no cost. However, if you are so moved and have the means, please consider making a donation to the Hubbard Street Crisis Relief Fund. Thank you!
Kick off your week with a free 1-hour Intermediate Horton class led by Hubbard Street Artistic Director Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell!
Explore the simple forms of contemporary ballet with a somatic lens and a mindfulness of alignment—all with the wonderful live musical accompaniment of Colin DeJong.
Join us for a midday conversation + screening of contemporary dance excerpts from companies all over the world. Guided by the team at Hubbard Street, new and experienced dance lovers alike are invited to explore a variety of contemporary ideas, issues, and concepts found in dance.
With the joy and meditation that grooviness provides, join Hubbard Street Dancer Alysia Johnson for a free 1-hour Int/Adv Contemporary class.
Join on Zoom or tune in on Facebook Live!
Let it all go with us in a free, 1-hour upbeat music video class for all levels! After a cardio warm up and stretching led by Hubbard Street Dancer Kevin J. Shannon, we will dive into music video choreography with Hubbard Street Dancer Craig D. Black Jr.
Come ready to dance and let your hair down, but most importantly, come ready to have fun!
