Our Strategic Plan
After a rigorous 18-month process, we are pleased to reintroduce you to Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, where it is now our mission to awaken the human spirit through contemporary dance.
With this recognition, Company Dancer Alexandria Best joins an extraordinary community of Princess Grace Award winning artists, including 4 current HSDC Dancers and numerous HSDC alumni. Hubbard Street is deeply honored to be the most-awarded contemporary dance company since the PGA's inception.
Hubbard Street is back—resilient, dreaming big, and growing—and with Artistic Director Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell at the helm, we are so proud of the momentum we’ve built with our community of Hubbard Street supporters around the globe. Read all about it online below.
We are elated to share that Aszure Barton (BUSK, Untouched, I at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago) has been named Resident Artist for the next three Seasons, embarking upon a process-based period of collaboration, creation, and mutual growth with the Company. Learn more about the partnership in the Chicago Tribune article linked below.
Make a bold move.
Join Hubbard Street Dance Chicago for one night only on Thursday, February 22, 2024 as we toast our city’s vibrant arts and culture community at Bold Moves for Bold Voices.
