Jacob's Pillow Festival 2022
Hubbard Street is overjoyed to return to the Jacob’s Pillow Festival 2022 to celebrate the 90th anniversary Season of the longest-running international dance festival in the United States. For six performances only, experience sensational selections from our Season 44 repertory, including new commission As the Wind Blows by Amy Hall Garner; Ohad Naharin’s mesmerizing duet B/olero; Little Rhapsodies by celebrated Chicago-born choreographer Lar Lubovitch; and Aszure Barton’s BUSK, called “nothing short of phenomenal” by WTTW Chicago.
SUMMERSTAGE
After celebrating National Dance Day with SummerStage Anywhere in 2020, we are thrilled to be performing at SummerStage this August—live and in-person—as part of an incredible festival lineup of women and BIPOC-led dance companies. This one-night-only program features works by acclaimed New York-based choreographers Amy Hall Garner (As the Wind Blows) and Darrell Grand Moultrie (Dichotomy of a Journey) alongside internationally renowned choreographer Ohad Naharin (B/olero).
Ravinia Festival
For the first time in decades, Hubbard Street returns to the Ravinia Festival for a special one-night-only outdoor performance at the Ravinia Pavilion as part of the Ruth Page Festival of Dance. Hubbard Street Dance Chicago: Evolution features selections from our 44th Season that showcase the company’s signature artistic excellence and commitment to pushing the bounds of contemporary dance, bringing together works by Amy Hall Garner (As the Wind Blows), Spenser Theberge (Ne Me Quitte Pas), Lar Lubovitch (Little Rhapsodies with live musical accompaniment), and Aszure Barton (BUSK).
