  • Hubbard Street’s repertoire includes work by world-renowned choreographers such as Nacho Duato, William Forsythe, Jirí Kylián, Ohad Naharin, and Crystal Pite
  • The company performs over 50 shows each year in Chicago, leading dance venues across the nation, and at international festivals
  • Choreographic Fellowships help develop choreographers including Alejandro Cerrudo, Alice Klock, Penny Saunders, Robyn Mineko Williams 


  • The Lou Conte Dance Studio offers over 80 classes per week for all experience levels from ballet, to musical theater, and Pilates
  • The Youth Dance Program includes students from 18 months to 18 years of age, and provides over $75,000 in financial aid
  • Our Intensive Programs foster the artistic and technical development of over 400 dancers ages 13–24
  • Hubbard Street Professional Program (HS Pro) provides career training and performance opportunities for 20 aspiring professional dancers


  • Hubbard Street’s education programs empower nearly 5,000 students each year to express themselves as dancers and choreographers
  • Movement as Partnership offers free, 14-week residency programs in six CPS elementary schools, serving over 35 classrooms
  • Dance Education Institute provides comprehensive professional development workshops for dance educators in the Midwest
  • The Autism Project and Hubbard Street Parkinson’s Project provide inclusive environments for learning adaptive dance techniques
