LOU CONTE DANCE STUDIO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The LCDS scholarship program is a financial assistance program geared toward students at an advanced level who are pursuing a career in dance. Dancers are required to take 12 technique classes each week in ballet, jazz, modern and Pilates, all at the advanced/professional level. Auditions are by appointment only. LOU CONTE DANCE STUDIO WORK STUDY PROGRAM
The LCDS Work Study program provides an opportunity for students to take classes at the studio in exchange for working at the front desk. These positions require excellent organizational and customer service skills. Duties include checking-in clients, handling payments, maintain student records in Mindbody Software, as well as answering phones, relaying messages, fielding questions, and light cleaning and organizational duties. Employees must be able to work in a fast paced environment with detailed accuracy and perform multiple tasks simultaneously with agility. Proficiency with standard computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary. Program participants must be available for two, four hour shifts per week (total of eight hours per week) in exchange for unlimited dance classes. Must be able to provide 12 - 16 hours of availability per week, including night and/or weekend availability. Minimum 6 month commitment required.
