Our TEEN Intensive is a three-week program ideal for dancers ages 13 – 17 who are focusing on advanced course work and are considering a career in dance.

Program Objectives: To propel a dancer’s training through various disciplines, creative thinking, and risk-taking. Our program encourages artistic growth by building relationships with dancers interested in connecting with and learning about Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Dancers will be pushed outside of their artistic bounds, allowing for progression and advancement in their training.

Program Curriculum: Dancers will attend daily technique classes, with additional training in Horton, Jazz, Contemporary, Improvisation, Floorwork, Tap, Hip-Hop, and Somatics. Dancers will learn repertory excerpts, including current works from our 45th season.

Program Dates:
Session 1: June 26 – July 14, 2023
Session 2: July 17  – August 4, 2023

Schedule: Classes are from approximately 9:30am – 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Participants must be available to attend all three weeks of the session. Dancers may elect to participate in one or both sessions.

Tuition: $2,249
Housing + Breakfast: TBA
