Under the artistic leadership of Jim Vincent, HSDC continues a legacy of dance excellence and a commitment to education and community programs that were established by Founder Lou Conte. The unwavering generosity of HSDC supporters has allowed us to maintain our core values and grow into one of America’s premiere contemporary dance companies.

We need your help to ensure the legacy continues. HSDC relies on the generosity of individual donors through our Annual Fund and Dancemakers programs. We also greatly appreciate the participation of our Business Partners, Corporate Sponsors and Foundation donors. Altogether, your contributed support provides one half of HSDC’s annual operating budget and allows the company to perform bold contemporary dance for 130,000 people annually in Chicago and worldwide.

HSDC is preparing for the future through our $6 million New Movements Campaign. You can play a part in our future, promote the creation of new choreography and help HSDC enrich the lives of new audiences through your support of this special initiative.
