Emilie began her dance training at the age of eight. In 2007 she moved to the Boston area to study at Walnut Hill School for the Arts. She has attended summer programs at Magnus Midwest (formerly Joffrey Midwest), Complexions Contemporary Ballet, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. In 2009 she performed alongside the dancers of zoe|juniper in the devil you know is better then the devil you don’t. Emilie joined HS2 as an apprentice in September 2010 and became a HS2 company member in September 2011.

Question and Answer:

What do you think about right before you go on stage in front of an audience? Do you still get nervous?
Before I go on I always do a once-over just to make sure everything wardrobe related is in place -- I tend to get really paranoid otherwise. In the final seconds before going on though, I just remind myself that what I'm about to do is for myself as much as it is for the audience.
