Kellie began her dance training in 1988 with the Academy of Dance and Civic Ballet of San Luis Obispo. She has participated in summer programs with the Joffrey Ballet and the Juilliard School. In 2002, she had the opportunity to tour Russia with the Deyo Dancers. Kellie joined Hubbard Street 2 in January 2005 before becoming an apprentice with the main company in December 2006. Kellie was made a full company member in January 2008.
