The listings below are for various auditions taking place at the Hubbard Street Dance Center.
The HARID Conservatory
Auditions are open to dancers 13 – 16 years of age and will be held at the Lou Conte Dance Studio at the Hubbard Street Dance Center. The 2014 Summer School takes place June 23 – July 18, 2014 at the HARID Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. For more information on the audition, please visit harid.edu/auditions.

Oklahoma City Ballet
Auditioning dancers should bring a full body dance shot, headshot and resume to the audition. Ladies should be prepared to dance center on pointe.
Interested applicants are encouraged to audition in person by attending one of the open auditions. If your schedule does not permit you to attend the scheduled auditions, you may send a DVD. DVD's should include a minimum of one classical variation (ladies on pointe) and one contemporary variation, in addition to basic classroom center work and should be mailed with resume, headshot and full body dance shot to the address below care of Jacob Sparso, Ballet Master. You will be notified by Oklahoma City Ballet if we would like to schedule an audition with you during company class. Auditions during company class will be by invitation only. OKC Ballet offers 30 week contracts with competitive salaries, company paid health insurance and physical therapy. Past repertoire includes Balanchine, Arpino, Tudor, Nicolo Fonte, Jessica Lang, Helen Pickett, Amy Seiwert, Alan Hineline, Matthew Neenan and full length classics. Point Park University's
Point Park's International Summer Dance is a comprehensive dance program that specializes in ballet, jazz and modern. The curriculum includes daily technique classes in Ballet, Jazz and Modern, supplemented by Pointe and Variations, Male Technique, Pas de Deux, Tap, Music for Dancers, Pilates, and Yoga.
Daily rehearsals are directed towards three performances in the George Rowland White Performance Studio. Students are taught by a faculty featuring nationally and internationally-recognized teaching artists. The program is open to students ages 10 or older. However, to live on campus in a residence hall, students must be at least 16 years of age.
Students unable to commit to six weeks can attend for three weeks. Students cannot mix or choose weeks. Students must be able to commit to either the first three weeks of the program or the full six weeks.
Students are asked to pre-register prior to the audition. If you are unable to attend an audition in person, you may send in a DVD. Complete audition and program details at pointpark.edu/summerdance.
